Why I’m Running and What’s Next for Our City
My journey in Vineyard began in July 2017, and from that first drive into the city, I knew Vineyard was special. I made Vineyard my home because it has a fabulous location and high potential. I remember moving in before Grove Park opened and the excitement and anticipation we felt for what we now enjoy.
With its great views, access to Utah Lake, planned residential areas, and a noteworthy trail and park system, Vineyard offers an incredible quality of life. Adding to this foundation are an evolving economy with anchor businesses and quick, convenient access to I-15 and FrontRunner. Vineyard has grown fast and that pace brings cultural change and infrastructure challenges. I believe that we can manage our growth to address our challenges with thoughtful and collaborative leadership.
Looking ahead, I envision Vineyard as a true destination city in Utah. I see a future where our property values remain stable, where our amenities attract new residents, and where visitors come to experience what makes Vineyard so unique.
This is a city that will truly thrive, not merely survive. My vision includes more parks and trails that are safe and fun for our children, complemented by a vibrant downtown that actively draws in diverse businesses and young professionals. Vineyard will be a place that draws everyone for recreation, entertainment, and essential services, all made possible by our exceptional location.
I want to continue being your representative on the City Council so that I can help realize that vision. I have shown that I can be respectful to all and I believe that we can work collaboratively through our differences to build the best Vineyard possible.
I love Vineyard and am excited to continue working with you to build this bright future for us.
